What took me 10 years to figure out: When targeting investors, you need to look beyond the institutional level.
Institutional data provides directional accuracy, but to secure meetings effectively, you must identify the ultimate landing spot for your stock.
It’s great if a firm invests $X billion in your market cap or industry...but if you can’t pinpoint where your stock fits within their portfolios, you’re unlikely to convert them into new investors.
